PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

Our trained supervisors are always present to provide guidance, mediate conflict, support youth during times of crisis or simply keep activities fun and interesting!

Trained On Site Staff

Youth in our programs are taught key life skills that are often left out of school. These include topics such as money management, leadership and cooking within budget.

Life Skills Workshops

We always provide our youth with free healthy snacks and meals. We believe that teaching youth about healthy, balanced eating in a supportive and accessible way sets the foundation for lifelong wellness.

Daily Healthy Food

Both our staff and peer mentors are ready and able to provide help with homework to ensure that our youth get the most out of their education!

Homework Help

Job Search Assistance

We help connect our youth with FORT-exclusive volunteer opportunities, build their resume and conduct mock-interviews they can put their best foot forward when entering the workforce!

Resume Help

We're always there to help our youth when building a resume. We walk them through the layout and wording to ensure they represent themselves professionally.

Volunteer Opportunities

We connect our youth with FORT-exclusive opportunities such as Special Olympics and cooking for the Salvation Army to gain experience and gain their volunteer hours for graduation!

Emergency Services

In times of crisis, the FORT is able to provide youth with fast and free access to a variety of resources, as well as trained, supportive staff and emergency kits.

Field Trips

The FORT takes youth on free and exciting field trips — giving them the chance to explore, bond, and experience new things.

One of our most anticipated outings is our annual summer trip to Canada’s Wonderland!

Explore our on-site resource library for helpful information on mental health, employment, education, and more. It's free, youth-friendly, and available whenever you need support or inspiration.

On-Site Resource Library

Need someone to talk to? We offer confidential, non-judgmental conversations with trained staff who are here to listen, support, and help guide you through whatever you're facing.
